Dr. Cromie is a double-boarded
pediatric and adult allergy and asthma specialist. He is
board certified by the American Board of Allergy, Asthma
and Immunology, and by the American Board of Pediatrics.
He is licensed to practice medicine in Tennessee and Georgia.
Dr. Cromie received his medical
degree from the Medical College of Georgia in 1995 and
completed his pediatric residency at T.C. Thompson Children’s
Hospital in 1998. After completing a Pediatric and Adult
Allergy/Immunology fellowship at the Medical College
of Georgia, Dr. Cromie joined Chattanooga Allergy Clinic
in July 2000.
Dr. Cromie is a member of both the
American Academy of Asthma, Allergy and Immunology and
the American College of Asthma, Allergy and Immunology.
He is on staff at T.C. Thompson Children’s Hospital
as a clinical instructor and serves as an instructor
for the UT College of Medicine Department of Family Practice.
Dr. Cromie is active in his community, serving as 2003
Chairman of the American Lung Association Annual Gala.
He is past president of the Chattanooga/Hamilton County
Pediatric Society and currently serves as the president
of the Tennessee Allergy Society. Dr. Cromie was elected
recently as a delegate to the Tennessee Medical Association
and serves on the board of directors for T.C. Thompson
Children’s Hospital Foundation.
Dr. Cromie is a sports enthusiast
who enjoys spending time with his wife, Nancy, and their
three children. Dr. Cromie’s personal affliction
with childhood asthma and allergies allows him to relate
to patients of all ages.
